JUDAISM AND THE SUCCESS OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE

People,

The success of the Jews today is mostly attributed to the teachings of their religion. Judaism is perhaps the most gnostic of all contemporary religions of our time. Like other religions, the teachings of Judaism are based on set of premises on the existence of a supreme Being, --call it God, Yawe, Jehova, Allah, or whatever you want--, but unlike other religions, it focuses its fundamental teachings on human reason, human rational and love.

So for most Jews, once you have reconciled your thought process with the laws of the Universe, intelligent decision making and hard work become the indispensable aspects of human life that lead to success, joy and fulfillment.

PROFILE OF A MODERN AFRICAN LEADER

The sub-Saharan African countries have suffered the consequences of dictatorship and bad governance ever since they became independent. We have seen leaders stay in power indefinitely with neither accountability to the people they serve, nor any democratic process in place to ensure peaceful and constitutional transition of power. The fall of the Berlin wall in the late 1980s brought the first wave of change in governance to these sub-Saharan nations. The Arab spring of 2011 – as being phrased-- may very well be the subsidiarity that sweeps these nations into modern forms of governance.

SOME THOUGHTS ON PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

In life, there will always be circumstances beyond your control that affects the outcome of your endeavor. In most cases however, the effect of such circumstances could be greatly mitigated if you are willing to accept your share of responsibility in such occurrences and move on with life. There is no such a thing as failure if you learn from your mistakes. Life will only get better with every succession or increment of lessons learned. In the end, it really just depends on you and mostly you.

CAUSE AND EFFECT
THE PRIME LAW OF THE UNIVERSE

THE CAUSE AND EFFECT LAW IS THE MOST IMPORTANT LAW OF THE UNIVERSE. IF YOU LIVE BY THIS, YOU CAN NOT FAIL. IT'S THE LAW OF KARMA

The law of cause and effect is the prime law that runs the universe. It is the number one law. Every spiritual and scientific philosophy teaches it some formulation.

When you engender a cause or an action to the Universe, the Universe has no choice but to respond with an effect or a reaction –more or less proportional to your action in some degree—to the cause or action. It must return the favor to you by virtue of its own Law. It must respond to your action with a reaction of its own. It's the law of KARMA. It’s impossible to escape this law. Cause and effect is the fundamental law of the Universe. Perhaps this law coupled with the principles of personal responsibility and positive affirmation, bound into the cosmic rhythm, the cosmic will and the will of MAN constitute the most profound idea upon which creation can be explained.

KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER TO AFRICA – SOME THOUGHTS

In the article “ The Nexus between Knowledge and Competence”, I inferred that the African system of education is ill suited and unfitting to instill in the psyche of our young people, the knowledge, the capacity and the character necessary to build a better and modern country for our children, let alone to close the increasingly widening chasm between the modern world and Africa. The outdated educational system has left the sub-Saharan African people –especially those living in Africa-- unfit to meet the challenges of this very fast paced 21st century.

CHRISTIANITY IN AFRICA - SOME THOUGHTS

Today, most of the sub-Saharan Africans –notably the Bantous and the semi-Bantous-- would refer to themselves as Christians. These people go to church on Sundays, pray to Jesus and patiently believe that the Lord will someday, somehow answer their supplications and bring about the realization of the profound desires of their hearts and make their lives better –even without them having to take any actions--.

A TRIBUTE TO MANDELA

May his soul rest in abundant peace. Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela –call him Madiba-- has passed but the enormous legacy of this gigantic soul of a man of history is just beginning to be enshrined in the books of the ages. Mandela, a man who sacrificed so much for his people, a man who brought us so much, taught us so much, a man whose heart flows with infinite courage and determination to right the wrongs of a society that betrayed its future to the most inhumane and cruel form of racial injustice.

UNDERSTANDING SECRET SOCIETIES --IN AMERICA--

Secrets have always been a part of human life. If you have any information or knowledge that you are not entitled or willing to freely share with everyone, then you have a secret. If you and your wife or a friend have something that you both wouldn’t want a third person to know, then the two of you constitute a secret party of two. Secrets are those things that we cherish and hold dear in some way. It’s what creates and maintains a bond of trust between people who share the same origin and the same interest. It’s a trust relationship or partnership that assures us and makes us feel safe and secure.
