TRANSFORMING OUR RAW MATERIALS LOCALLY

To become an emerging economy, a country must invest in manufacturing. A country must be making things that it can export to the world. And for a country like Cameroon, that means investing in small to medium size industries that will transform our natural resources and raw materials locally. These finished products will then be exported to other countries in Africa and around the world. And this has the capacity to create millions of new --good paying-- jobs in the private sector, sparking an economic and industrial revolution, and the return on investments for our country could be massive.

HOW PAPER IS MADE

Cameroon has lots of woods, but after 50+ years on independence, we still don't have an industry to transform our wood locally. Instead we give it to France for --almost-- free.

This video shows how paper is made in a Paper Mill. Think about how many good jobs can be created with this industry. Think about how much revenue we can generate by manufacturing paper and all paper derived products and export it to the world.

People, think about it !!

HOW PLASTIC IS MADE

Polyethylene, which is used to make plastic can be derived from petroleum products and byproducts. Plastic can be used to make bags, bottles, home appliances, kitchen appliances, car appliances and much more. Cameroon has all the raw materials to make plastic. But we still don’t have a plastic manufacturing company. Instead we import thousands of plastic made items from overseas.

Think of the jobs, think of the revenue. People, think !!

HOW GLASS IS MADE

Sand is the essential ingredient used to make glass products. Glass can be used to make home windows, cars parts, mirrors, kitchen wares and literally thousands of items used in our lives daily. Cameroon have all of the raw materials to make glass, but we still don’t have a manufacturing facility that makes glass and glass products. Think about the jobs that this can create. Think about the revenue that can be generated in this sector.

HOW TIRES ARE MADE

Rubber and byproducts of Petroleum are the essential elements to make tires. Cameroon, with all the rubber we produce, with all the petroleum we have, with all the steel we have, we still don’t have a tire manufacturing company. Think about the thousands of good paying jobs, think about the massive revenue that this industry alone could generate.
